Frequently asked questions
The most common questions we get from our clients
We recommend booking online to guarantee your preferred time and specialist, especially for color, nails, or spray tans. Walk-ins are always welcome whenever the schedule allows — give us a call and we'll let you know the soonest opening.
Absolutely. When you book online you can choose the artist you'd like to see, whether that's a particular hair stylist, our nail technician, or our teeth whitening and spray tan specialists.
Life happens — if you need to reschedule, please let us know as early as you can so we can offer that time to another guest. You can manage your appointment right from your online booking confirmation, or just give us a call.
For haircuts and basic services, a few days' notice is usually plenty. For color, nail design, bridal styling, or spray tans around an event, we suggest booking one to two weeks ahead to get your preferred stylist and time.
For spray tans, arrive with clean, exfoliated skin and no lotion, oil, or deodorant. For teeth whitening, avoid coffee, wine, and other staining foods or drinks for a few hours beforehand for the best results. Your specialist will walk you through any other prep at booking.
Yes — boy's haircuts and a kids' gel manicure are both on the menu. Just let us know when booking so we can plan enough time.
Tan Care
Here is what you do before your spray tan:
- Exfoliate your skin before your spray tan appointment to remove any dead skin cells and ensure an even application.
- Avoid using any lotions, oils, or deodorants on your skin before your spray tan session, as they can interfere with the solution's absorption and may result in streaks or uneven color.
- Wear loose, comfortable clothing to your appointment to avoid any friction that can rub off the solution.
Here is what you need to keep in mind on the day of your spray tan session:
- Wear dark, loose clothing to your appointment as the solution may rub off on clothing and light colors may become stained.
- Avoid wearing tight clothing or undergarments, as they can rub off the solution and cause streaks.
- Bring flip flops or open-toed shoes to wear after your session to avoid smudging the solution on your feet.
Here is what you do after your spray tan:
- Wait at least 8-12 hours before showering after your spray tan session to allow the solution to develop fully.
- Avoid activities that may cause sweating or rubbing of the skin, such as exercising or tight clothing, for at least 24 hours after your session.
- Moisturize your skin daily after your session to help maintain your tan and avoid dryness.
Here is the best way to maintain your tan:
- Avoid long, hot showers and baths as they can fade your tan more quickly.
- Pat your skin dry with a towel after bathing, rather than rubbing, to avoid rubbing off the solution.
- Exfoliate your skin gently with a non-abrasive exfoliant a few days after your session to help maintain an even tan.
